X Komms ® PSTN Call Charges & Line Rentals

X Komms® is a corporate 'switchless' reseller of telephony calls from a carefully selected group of 'Tier 1' telecomm carriers (BT quality).

Each carrier has been specifically chosen so that their combined capabilities means we can offer the optimum quality across every call destination, plus provide the widest range of additional services useful to clients.

Cost benefits to clients

  • With such a multiple carrier solution, clients enjoy the best in call charges, even by time of day and day of the week.
  • Our free telephony audit service will identify what savings are possible for prospective clients, where those savings are, and what the projected monthly and annual savings are likely to be by swapping to X Komms® . We have always been able to produce significant savings, typically 25-33% , which can be released without cost to that client.

Resilience

  • By using multiple Tier 1 carriers, we ensure that in the highly unlikely scenario of a technical problem on one carrier's network, a client's calls will be switched seamlessly and immediately to another network in seconds, without any detrimental effect or increased cost to our end client.

Added value services

  • X Komms® has the ability to bill clients by extension (PBX allowing).
  • Our clients can set an email alert for a particular call being made, typically an 09XXX number, or to a specific mobile etc, and they will be emailed by the system soon after any such call has been made (within 24 hours), with the call details including from where the call originated.
  • Every quarter we seek to update all client tariffs where changes have occurred, to keep our clients' ongoing costs as low as possible.
  • True Account Management means that each client enjoys a full and free face-to-face account review several times a year.

Billing

  • We bill per second and to 2 decimal places.
  • Our standard billing reports are free and provide a bountiful supply of management information, making each monthly bill a management tool in itself.
  • Billing is available for clients on the X Komms® intranet via our secure portal, or via paper.
  • Our calls to mobiles are available with full CLI presentation, or as a CLI and non-CLI presented blended service, at a slight decrease in cost.
  • There are no hidden charges, no call connection charges or strange truncations etc
  • We bill one month in advance for infrastructure eg ISDN lines, broadband, one-off charges etc, and 1 month retrospectively for call charges.
  • Infrastructure is on a 12-month contract and call charges on a 30 day rolling contract unless otherwise stated.
  • All client bills are paid by direct debit after 14 days.
